With such an amazing weather for June. I had to get a Baker trip in. Weather
finally set up and conditions were good to go to get my 20th summit.
Mike has a few more to go. I've been wanting to hit the mark for a while.
So I was stoked to do it.

Baker always brings the goods for obsessed skiers. Just ignore the people
asking you, if you are going skiing and hit it.

Still one of the best ski trips around, two hours from North Vancouver.
looks good Andy! how far do you gotha hike to snow?

Eckels....

Around 5000ft or about an hour in of steady hiking before you hit snow.

Have a good one.

We are going up Mt. Baker Coleman Glacier on 7/28, do you think the conditions will still be skiable.  If so should we ski down roped?

For sure, bring a rope. The standard route is straight forward with plenty of climbers doing the route. But don't underestimate the size of the crevasses. We ski down un roped, but keep your eyes on the slots.
