With a short day to work with and looking for something other than Silver again,we parked by the bridge in lot one and walked up to the winter route. The snow starts at the water tower 75yds beyond lot4 @3200ft, and was continuous forest skinning to Source Lk except for one 15ft carry near the bottom of mushroom couloir. Easy travel up the open chutes towards Great Scott Bowl from the lake, though the snow is getting sun cupped in the bowl itself.

Man... I can't believe how much snow is up there! Great payout for being so close to Seattle.
