Dave, Keith, Les and I had a fine tour yesterday.  We parked near the last turn before the
Sunrise lot, and I was able to skin most of the way up the nameless peak between Antler and Dege.  It wasn't exactly a Chutefest, but we saw several TAYers throughout the day.  2 great runs down the NE(?) couloir on Dege, a run into the bowl W of Dege, and a noncontinuous ski back to the car.  Stable, carveable corn every time.  Brilliant weather!
AND how the heck does one pronounce "Dege"?   ???

On July 4th we skied Dege Peak
And made turns 'til our thighs were all weak.
All TAYers should go
'Cause there's lots of good snow
For July turns to lengthen their streak.

Keith, Mac, and company--nice to run into some fellow geezers yesterday. Mighty fine day! Each route (Sunrise Point start) has its benefits and challenges.

Nice pix Keith ...........

Looks like it was a fun day.

It's good to see at least one of you had his heals planted firmly on the ground ...................  ;)

According to PEAKWARE - World Mountain Encyclopedia, Dege is pronounced such that it rhymes with "reggae"; ('deg-ay).

Fine day indeed 8)

Mack et. al- great seeing you at the top of Dege!
Chutes were in excellent shape; snow seemed smoother and less sun-cupped compared to recent years in early July!
