Partner had to bail at the last minute for our trip up the Fryingpan (I wish I'd read the Partners Wanted section last night) so I decided to take a trip up the "old standby."
Able to skin within 100' of the parking lot. There are 3 bare spots at Panorama Point that require carrying. The light breeze and filtered sunshine made for a pleasant ascent.
I descended around 12:30. The upper part of the snowfield skied great. The snow got really grabby between 8.5k and 7k, a little less sticky below that.
I managed get some turns down the winter route of Pan Point, but the snow won't be continuous there for much longer.
