Late start, drove through snow in 4X4 and started skinning on trail at about 1130am. We were able to skin the entire trip, but not totally advisable for those who love their skis and skins.
Wind scoured slopes in the open meadow with icy conditions until the traverse back into the basin by Green. Very windy and cold the whole day, and snowed the entire time. Headed up to the ridge on the left side of summit and skied down from turn around point. Great powder up high, but snow deterioated as you got lower.
The ski down the trail was henious, but at least we got some skiing in.
