Looking for thoughts - or better yet - recent info on Silver Star Creek approach to Silver Star Mt (hwy 20).

Climbed silverstar via burgundy col last weekend and looking down the silverstar creek valley, i doubt you could put on skins until climbing out of the valley ~5000'.  If you went in the burgundy col route, there was continuous snow from 6000' to ~200' before the col.

Just went by Silver Creek this morning and maybe 4,800' level is where snow patches start. Blue Lake TH is still under 3' of snow.
