Really wet...
Missed the weather window, but I had my gear by the door...
Left Welches at 5:15 on dry roads under an overcast. Parked outside the gate;) and was skinning from the garages in a light mist by 6, with the summit still in sight.
By 7:30 I was top of Vista, but couldn't see much else. It was mostly rain hitting me sideways, forming a nice crust on my coat. I stopped to wolf some tail mix and water, and started to shiver. So I took what I had...
Snow was really fun and fast alternating slashable fresh and dirty but firm smooth crust. Couple employees in the parking lot gave me head shake and wave, I was out by 8.
June in the book, 43 months. Lots of snow.
