Went on a mission Saturday to try and track down my missing K2 Dark Side.

When we arrived around 1pm it was raining and motivation was low but by the time we geared up the rain and stopped and the sun had come out!

We could start skinning almost right off the patio and started by skinning up Promenade, then Skid Road, dropped our skis at the top and then booted down to where I had lost my ski at the end of February. Sadly it was nowhere to be seen even though it seemed as though a lot of snow had melted. I had expected to find it just sitting there but after the four of us searched a radius of a few hundred feet it was clear it wasn't easily findable.

As we started skinning up to the top of Big Chief the rain came back with a vengeance. At the top of Big Chief we were even treated to a little snow. Fortunately as we clicked in to head down the sun came out again and we had a great ski to the base where we fired up a grill and enjoyed some burgers and beers.
