A passel of folks braved the rainy forecast for my annual birthday ski at Chinook. Parked on the east side of the pass and got boots and skins on in pouring rain. Our first lap or two had some drizzle, then it became overcast, then blue-sky sunny (if still pretty windy) for the last couple of laps. The snow's in excellent shape and there's still 4-5 feet at the lot. Sausages and beers in the parking lot afterward, yum. It was a "don't know until you go" sort of day.
