May 27, 2012, Teanaway Peak, Beverly Creek

Left the west side drizzle for the Teanaway last Sunday with Mr. Wong and headed up Beverly Creek "to explore". Thinking all day we were skiing Iron Mountain, and findng it curious that we hadn't seen our friends tracks from the previous day, we finally consulted a map and Becky's Guide and discovered that we had infact skied Teanaway Peak. A very enjoyable ski it was. Trail & snow patch hiking for the first mile or so then snow was continuous except for a couple small melt outs up to the pass between Teanaway and Bean Peaks. Worked our way to the top via the southerly shoulder/slopes. Spectacular views of the Stuart Range and Enchantments.
