Didn’t think I’d be up today, but the #1 Spouse was fired up to go – bonus all in all. Broken clouds early, fog on mid REX face early, GV big sun early with wisp’s of fog/clouds blowing around making great visuals, soft snow on the groomers early and everywhere else soon enough. More runs today in the Valley than normal. Best run of the day was main line in BP’s again today – many others from the very very small crowd of hard cores agreed. Maybe next best for us was Memorial. Heard big things about Upper Bull to Lower FerkBull – but most of those comments where from the Patrol which was having a really nice casual big fun ski day. Still had a slot of snow all the way to the base to ski when we quit – early today 1:30? Today was a little cooler and later a lot foggier on the vis and a lot sticker in the flats and pretty much everywhere else except – BP! which was still great the last time I did it. The big jump bag was getting set up at the bottom of the GV chair – should make for some nice entertainment during the next month. Lots of brown popping out, which makes things a lot more interesting on the slopes. Gotta say it was another fun unexpected day – I kinda like being local on Memorial weekend when everyone is some place else in the zoo zone. As noted no crowds today, less than yesterday with maybe more tourists around. A lot full, not much in B or C. No soup report again – not on my radar anymore.

Sorry to see you leave early. We must have made another dozen laps. BTW, the C, was soft/corned up nice, but I was the only one with skins so, no mas.

Yep.. I'd have liked to stay but thought I'd better get home to sick wife and get brownie points for being "thoughtful husband". You and H put in a lot of vert over the last few day...Alpental makes you strong like bull evidently.

Kudos on back to back days of going at it! I couldn't make it up this morning, do you think they'll still be running REX next weekend? Coverage on Lucky Shot under the gondy was getting pretty iffy last weekend.
