Started from a full lot of gaiters and ice axes at 10am. Got to bring my wife Alison for her 1st real tour since the only other thing she did before was the golf course near our home this past winter and Summit Central.

It was quite warm and the snow was already soft as we headed up. Conditions are still excellent. Only exposed area was the roll over at the first hill above chair one. After that, it seemed to be 100%. Full house up top upon our arrival, and I also found my skins bag that I had left inside the ch2 shack 2 nights before.

We began our descent around 1:30 and headed towards Nash. There was nobody around and I told Alison I wanted to take something off of my ticklist. So I stripped down and made my way down a slightly firm and icy descent. Turns were pretty fabulous lower down, and I changed back into clothes next to Widowmaker.

Skiers right of Lower Nash (under Denny Mtn) was pretty swell as well. Only grabby for the last 500'.

This ones for you Shane
