Got to Crystal and realized Yoshiko forgot her boots! Luckily Martin Rand had his shop open, and had a pair of Black Diamond boots that fit her, and had some interesting attachments that made them compatible with Dynafit bindings. Skinning up was 2" slush on a firm base starting right at the lodge, down was similar with some grabbiness. There was a skim of fresh snow last night above 5500'.
