Another great sunny slush cup kind of day, warmer, less wind, softer earlier, lighter crowd (what’s up, nobody want to take their Mom’s skiing?).  Only did one Upper and Lower E run today but it was still pretty nice and soft and steep.  Spent most of the time doing Sunnyside, Breakover and REX chairline runs. Did one in Lucky Shot trees (OuterFerks) – very nice. Bearpits was closed today, so no fun out there.  Bumps getting bigger and deeper, but still nice and soft. Bumped into Paul and Mary – nice talking to them and Paul’s Yellow Hawaii shirt was very nice!  Did a cycle up FQex to check the soups since no one was around to get the report for me – Potato and Ched Broc….today was the last day for CB lodge soup reports – they were packing up the place for the summer and closing down. Heard rumors that this would be the last day for FQex – but also heard it might stay open for another weekend, the snow on Downhill and Rolling Noll was actually pretty nice, I was surprised.  Green Valley also had pretty nice snow quality – especially Grub Stake.  Fun day, now we get another week off to let the slopes smooth out.  No lift lines at all today. A lot full with very few cars in C and B.  Getting really brown around the base, if it stays warm as the forecasts indicate it could be pretty challenging at the bottom.
