- some b/c skiers from the Reno, Tahoe area are skiing the Lassen/ Shasta combo or the Shasta/ Lassen combo, in either order (joke) (for 11,000 vert). And, the trans-Sierra passes are both open (Sonora, to the north and Tioga, Yosemite).
Next wks. wthr is calling for temps running 10 degrees above avg, along with clear skies (making up for the past 2 yrs). - now's the time (but Shasta, Lassen should be good through June) *

What is the story on skiing the n. side of Lassen? I thought that side and every where else off the summit was closed for skiing this year...
