April 15, 2012, My Lake via Kaleetan

It is really listed as "My Lake" on the map.  Of course our primary goal was the Kaleetan summit, but after watching a group of four skiing down to shady Melakwa Pass, we decided to continue skiing down to My Lake on the sunny side.  It's over 2000' though not as dramatic as the upper slope off the summit.  But it is an interesting tour option.  Of course we had to get back up to Pineapple Pass.  We didn't need headlamps, but the snow in the Pineapple Basin was beginning to freeze up posing us the last challenge on our tired legs.

The trip took Sally and I over 10 hrs for 6200', 11 miles.  But we thoroughly enjoyed it, another great option in the Snoq area.
