Mission Ridge Fallout

What the heck is going on over there?

We haven't bought our passes yet.  I'm starting to wonder if regular season's pass holders might not be their target customer.  Will they be open for snomobiling on Tuesdays and Wednesdays next season?

Too much boasting about untracked slopes and no lift lines??? Wink

Need bums on seats to pay bills.

From a business perspective, they need new/better marketing. I don't think it will change much for pass holders. I think the biggest change is they will no longer allow skiers who reside west of the crest to buy passes.

Where do you get anything about snowmobiling in that article?  The same thing happens whenever new owners take over, they bring in their own people.  Nothing new.   I've never been to Mission but would like to trek over there sometime soon.

^^^It doesn't, Eric is just spouting non-sequitors. Larry has been the owner for 8 years. He wants to draw more westsiders and snowboarders, I don't think it will happen. It's too far for day trippers and with no slope side lodging not that many people consider it as a destination.

Still working my way through my first cup of joe, and the sarcasm meter isn't warmed up yet. I'm guessing this humor?

Sorry, I was thinking of Stevens Pass when I said new owners.   Guess Mission owner just wants a new direction.  Hope for the best, as I don't want to see any ski area suffer.
