A no show made us start late and this was a blessing in disguise. Started climbing at 930. The skin track was frozen crap. Bailed on the trees and went right above the waterfall to phantom. Soft sunny skinning all the way to the slot. A little wind kept south facing slop from getting too soft.
Got to the slot about 230. Watched a couple of boarders drop in and conditions looked fantastic. Smooth dry powder the whole down. No signs of instability. Sunday should still be great.
