Headed up for a short tour. Snow quality was good, boot top skinning up to the bowl, then packed powder until I reached the pass. Poor light and high winds with driving snow had me bowing my head the final bit.
Behind me I saw a lone skier making his way up as well. We talked a bit on top and leap frogged one another down to allow a reference for making turns in the flat light.
Once in the trees the snow was deeper and light fun turns were had.
We did a second lap from the bowl because it was so good. Stability was not completely solid, one could cut a small crown here and there on steeper aspects.
Great day to be out, snowed all day. Nice to meet you Nick. No photos, forgot my camera.

Likewise Lisa. Nice to meet you as well. How many names did we mention in common? I lost track.
Definitely better than the previous south bowl appetizer run. Thanks for the latter half skin track. I think this would be called: "Full conditions." My limited expectations were certainly exceeded.

Timely and appreciated report. Thanks to both of you.
