Went up to Paradise Saturday expecting nasty weather but decent snow. We got a couple runs in with really terrible visibility and were about ready to call it a day. We decided to do one more run and it was a good thing we did because the sun came out in full force. The rest of the afternoon was beautiful with light stable snow on north aspects and plenty of sunshine. We saw another couple of parties early in the day, but every one seemed to leave before the sun came out.
One of the best turns of the year

That looks worth waiting for.
Lookin good!
I like the shadow in the backflip image - the first one is my fav though. Thanks for sharing
That is the first backflip I've seen on TAY. I hope it's not the last!
I think there's other backflips in the archives. ;)
We definitely slayed some good lines on Mazama ridge through the sunshine and end of the day. Some scary cornice releases had us making some conservative line choices. Sun is nice, but sure can change the snowpack rapidly.
