Pretty nice marketing report kind of day – no joke, reasonably light early crowd, new snow of varying depths, some sun, some light snowfall, lots of electricity on the mountain, lifts running pretty smoothly, lots of happy people, big conga lines of folks heading out south, lots of hamstring from GV to HC by me, great snow in PB (nice deep new on top), BP’s and OuterFerks very nice, Doors to M-World getting better all day. No lift lines to speak of other than a few times on HC during the late morning rush hour heading south. Checked in CB lodge pretty late today and it was packed to the rafters at 1pm, no Chicken Noodle again – soups were Chicken Coconut Curry and Roasted Red Pepper Bisque (always the same old soups). Parking lots pretty normal – mostly empty pay lot and cars in C and B, noticed that UCBCE lot looked kinda empty. Everyday the snow pack gets deeper and skiing options get bigger. Should be really nice tomorrow before the next big storm. Should be seeing some really nice video pretty soon on this site.

UCBCE lot empty because the weasels never plowed either of the connector roads, even though the big loader was up there pushing snow out of lot proper. Took a serious 4WD rally to get up, nearly foot deep ruts and slop.

I didn't let the non plowed road stop me from getting to my usual spot in Upper Lot C with the Backcountry Elite yesterday although I did get stuck and had to use my avy shovel to dig out and get my wife and son to push me....but I made it and then pee'd on my tires in triumph.
What a difference a day makes after yesterday's drama. Spent most of the day out North and Deep North skiing untracked powder with my friends in complete solitude far from the maddening crowd. Never went near the frontside .
Interesting sight from the gondola of three people skiing up Upper Bowl approaching the Iceberg Col. why the hell would somebody choose to skin up there on fairly busy day with skiers dropping in above and below them......madness.
