I have a favorite spot along the south bank of the river near the washed out bridge on the Deadhorse Rd., but there are dozens of nice spots. Never yet been hassled during winter. Just drive up the logging road of your choice between Glacier and the Hannegan Rd. until you see something suitable. If prone to sleeping late, avoid the Glacier Creek and Canyon Creek roads with their snowmobile traffic.

Hope that helps.
