Encouraged by a trip report, decided to go for a look and see how the skiing was. It was great, seven or eight inches of nice snow with just enough body to make it feel like more. The terrain was modest, there was a strong crust layer under the new snow, we skied until about three in the afternoon, and the snow was just starting to become a little heavy.
