Well! If you pay attention to weather forecasts you would never have expected what today was like.  Day started cloudy, windy and cold. It got greyer till it was snowing big flakes around 11:30…but from that time on till I bailed it got sunnier and warmer.  Pulled into the end of the A lot at 7:35?  Noticed a half full pay lot already?  Oh Sturtevants demo day, lots of tents, lots of skis and a heck of a lot of vehicles in the front of the A lot.  Crowd on the lifts (other than the bucket line) didn’t seem to bad today – little burst during the 10-o-clock hour as usual on REX, but it was short and then gone.  Cause of the marginal mental conditions early I was lazy and did PB/BP laps alternating with GV to ICEFERKBERG – it was firm most of my times down it – OuterFerks was much nicer.  Ended the day with just one more run and then one more and then…Checked CB lodge around noon and it was packed, soups where Split Pea with Ham and “Roasted Red Peppers and Gouda Bisque” – sadly no Chicken Noodle again.  Lots of folks around the base when I left at 2pm in perfect sunny conditions and I hurt mentally.  Pay lot still did not manage to completely fill up even with half used by the demo folks, C/B/D/E all looked pretty full so Crystal should be happy again.  Had fun, but would have liked more sun earlier.  Snowpack is big, spike in a tree that I noticed in the last really big year is now at eye level, back in 99(?) year it was at ski level.
