Started skinning around 10 under party cloudy skies.
Pretty amazing snow, definitely the best day for me this season. So good we went back up for a 2nd lap (daylight savings - you rock).
All near surface crusts disappeared by the time we reached the clear cut. The snow just got better the higher we went. Thanks a ton whoever put the skin track in (looks like it was put it on Saturday).
No wind and light snow fall all day. Sun disappeared completely around 11-noon and only came out for about 20 minutes again around 2:30-3. Did not observe any signs of instability and a pit from the party in front of us yielded good results. The same party confirmed the good conditions with their whoots and trails of smoke. I overheard one comment "Face shots are abundant today!"

Dude, you are THE photographer, fabulous pics, even without much backdrop & mellow grade. I especially like the one of the ski, skiing on the person.
Can I ask you what camera are you using??

Thanks, Jake! I am glad you like the picture of my crash ;D We are pushing our old Nikon D40 to its limits, but I got a brand new 10-20mm Sigma lens for my birthday that I like a lot.
Keep shooting photos, those are great!
