Skinned up to Anvil Rock with a whole lot of company.  It was very warm all day.  Coverage is about what you'd expect, with only one short, mandatory carry-gear-over-rocks zone going up Pan Point.

The upper part of the  snowfield was speckled -- spots of soft, pock-marked old snow that skied okay mixed w/ icier spots with just the top half inch coated white.

Lower down it got better, and the areas behind Pan Point were really pretty choice by comparison, fairly heavy recrystalized snow that skied really nicely -- not really corn but more like old powder on its way to corn.

The far east end of Edith Creek basin was a bit too heavy and hacked up, but whoever slipped into the basin through the little slot in the cliffs right below Pan Point made the right call.

All in all a good day with beautiful views, plenty of feel good turns and good company.
