i was in california for a party last week and decided to go a couple days early to check out tahoe. looks like i was a week early!
this area brings back some memories... (although i think they have more snow in them)
lots of not-buried features and snowshoe access combined for some fun mini golf.
jules wishes she had shorts.
for a minute i felt like my pack should be full of climbing gear.
there's always something cool about a lake run
and now what i really came for!

Great trip I bet - but man, that's the boniest I've seen Jake's before June.
it was a pretty fun trip... though i wish i'd gone after the storms that are raging down there right now.
we were actually on becker pk the first day and maggies the 2nd.... but you are still right about jake's! the emerald chute was looking a little thin.
