Saw yellow on the doppler heading to Stevensl on Monday morning, so Pete and I decided to head up and see what conditions were like. The ski area was empty and by mid morning were shocked to find it was already knee deep. It just kept puking snow and got deeper and depper as the day went on. Everyone (the few that were there) just kept talking about what an amazing day it was with untracked lines everywhere as the snow kept filling in the previous lines. The snow was so light, most of the day was just a white room experience. We just spent most of the day laughing because we were having such a good time.
Tuesday morning felt like a weekend day given the size of the lines. The snow had consolidated a bit, but it was still incredibly deep and fun. Most of the area god cut up pretty fast but there was alot of hooting and hollering and no complaints were heard.
