since Tue, the west slopes have received about 6 ft and the east slopes up to 4 ft. Avalanche rating is considerable, due to persistent deep slab instability. so, the options today were resort, or low angle back-country. I chose the resort, and found variable powder. some spots the wind got it down low, and up high it was typical maritime pow; smooth.
