Hyak was skiing real nice this morning! About 8"+ of velvet smooth hero snow. Arrived a bit after 6am and started out in the dark, soon joined by a few other happy midweek powder seekers and a couple dogs. There were even a couple sun breaks later in the morning. Three sweet powder runs and then back to town for other commitments. Lots of bombs going off at Alpental, I bet it'll be good over there today once they get things open. It was snowing all the way to Mercer Island on the way back down I-90. Get some today and tomorrow before the warm up!
