Lusting at the possibility for some more perfect snow conditions we convinced ourselves the weather forecast was wrong.  It was not going to rain, the wind wasn't going to blow for two days, there WOULD be sun on Sunday.... eh not so much.  But that didn't stop us from searching for the white fluffy stuff.  We didnt find it, but we still found a good time.

The snow conditions Sat and Sunday was extremely heavy deep snow.  We weren't as nimble as we thought in that type of snow so we introduced ourselves to had handful of saplings.  Saturday we had on again off again rain, Sunday windy and snowy.

Conditions for camping were equally as miserable, but a bottle of Knob Creek and a 6 pack of White Rascal made it a good time till the morning.  We mustered 5 runs before noon, which we thought was acceptable with our varying degrees of hangover.

One notable event from the evening, a "tree bomb" came down in the middle of the night, breaking the poles and leveling the tent that Dave and Pavel were in.  I woke up in the night hearing them try to find a way out of the tent.  Our Mess tent was also flattened. My snowcave escaped the attack.  Lesson learned, dont build your camp in the trees, even if you think it will give you more shelter from the wind.
