We delayed our start today hoping for the forecast weather improvement through the morning. It was calm, precip free, and overcast so no sun damage was done to the settling snow that fell over the past few days. Another benefit of a late start was that someone had figured out our secret stash and set a track for us, thanks!
We stayed in trees all day, feeling no need to venture higher into possibly wind affected open slopes. The slopes were steep enough to ski well in the 12-18" of slightly heavy snow.
