the trees were nice today

a fine cedar tree

two exemplary firs

many heavenly flakes, some well spaced trees, and and one odd fracture (on a concavity) that quickly devolved into sluffage

I regret to report that Kendallish was just as terrible this morning as your pix show that it was yesterday. The only difference being the oppressive sunshine.

Nice. How strong was the sun up there today?? Much affect on the snow if in the sun or are the cold temps enough to keep the sun from creating a crust.

I avoided the sun like I owed it money and was out of there before noon. In the trees there wasn't much change - heavier than yesterday but not crusted. The storm snow was still in the trees. As the I neared the clearings I noticed some spots where there was dripping from trees but I probably only saw one or two tree bombs while I was there.
