Took a quick tour on the NW flank of Diamond Head, found some good turns, in the form of 3 in. of fluff on a crust, made a pleasant tinkling sound from the 1 in frost crystals forming in the open. And some not so good skiing on 3 in of fluff on a 1/2 in breakable crust. Seems to be a combination of aspect, shading, and elevation, good enough that I'll try and get back for more exploring. The temperatures were cool enough that there was not too much changing where the sun was not directly on it.
