Ran into Storm'n Norman at the Ridge yesterday and we made plans to for Deer Park today. No worries about slogging through the deep. Coverage is poor at best and conditons were the same. The best skiing was found the first 2 miles up from the gate. Many bare patches and thin cover (less than 3 inches) up to 4000 ft. It was warm and melting quickly. Slow and cumbersome on the exit with lots of rocks and patches of road to avoid. Blue skys seemed to be shining everywhere except on us!

Felt more like Olympic National Gym today!
