I break trail up there this morning. The fresh is here, 6-8" in the open but unfortunately much less under the trees (4"). The crust underneath is very hard and gave me hard time skinning up, ski crampon would have helped. The top was a little bit better with more fresh under the trees and a somehow less hard bottom. That was my first time up Catherine so the skin track is a little bit messy (I was to high when I start traversing which force me to descend a little bit).

Here is quick photo from the top. The visibility was good.

Did you climb the north side of Catherine or go up from Nordic Pass?

NW face, I follow (or at least I try to) the route proposed in Volken's guidebook (Backcountry skiing snoqualmie pass).

How are things (like downed logs and creeks) filling in?  When I went up around Xmas, it was still pretty tough going in the trees.

It was lumpy, but enough coverage for normal ski options a couple weeks ago.  Now, different story.  The snowpack has probably more than doubled.
