Perfectly clear Wednesday with blue skies and windless at the VC. Conditions were tough out to the Hill, hard, fast and icy! I chattered my way down the road and prayed that I didn't fall.
On Wednesday the 1/4 inch of breakable ice on top of frozen granular skied pretty nicely on the north side. Each turn sounded a little like breaking glass as the shards flew past me. By about 2:00 pm. steeper southerly slopes had softened to corn and made for some surprisingly nice spring skiing.
Treacherous Friday on southern slopes but still turnable on north bowls!

Nice tracks---N side of Hurricane Hill? Where was your photo vantage point?
Thanks for the update. Adding another question to Telemack's, which pitch is your 2nd to last photo? Doesn't look familiar from my memories of the stuff off hurricane hill blvd.
