Anyone interested in letting the new guy tag along? I have been backcountry skiing for over 15 years, so I won't be much of a burden. i just don't know the terrain here yet. I have all of my backcountry gear ready to go. I just came back from a week in Utah and have the skiing bug again after no snow in the Cascades.. I am up for either or both days. I have a truck, but can only take one person. I live in West Seattle. Write me back or give me a call at 801-808-5664. Sorry, I haven't changed the number yet.
Hopefully it is as good as this weeks dawn patrollers runs!!!!
Ski ya soon

Would love to do something on Sunday. Probably Rainier. Still need to determine whether work/family commitments will allow. I will check site again tomorrow and let you know how it looks.

Byron (& RossMac?),
7:00 AM, Sunday, the Park & Ride nearest the intersection of I405 and HW167.
There are three Park & Rides within a 1/2 mile, this one is on the East side of HW167 between 7th St and Lake Ave S just North of Grady Way. Look under messages at the top of this page for my number and car descrip.

I'll be a party of three up at P-dice tomorrow as well... We're leaving from the 65th P&R at 7am. See you up there. I'll be driving a blue Outback w/RocketBox. Suspect the gate will not open till close to 10am...

Two (maybe three) women from Seattle plan to be up at Paradise, too. Looking like it will be snowing (yipee!)with a late gate opening.

Ouch, I was planning on Silver Basin tomorrow, but it sounds as if MRNP will be a bit better for the old ski bases. I'm embarrassed to say that I will be driving a way too large SUV by myself tomorrow, so if anyone needs a ride up from the Graham Safeway parking lot, let me know.

Corinne and I will be going as well - around the same time. Feel free to call me on my cell for carpool at: 425 246 2080. If the gate opens late though, we can do a slightly later start maybe? I like my skis, but I also like my bed :-)
