Had a quick tour up to Pineapple Pass. En route to Source Lake many snowshoe enthusiasts were passed. In Great Scott bowl saw some climbers tracks leading up the northeast side of the tooth. Then an exuberant yell from the summit of their success. Impressive climb on the rime drenched wall of rock!
Some 4" of snow atop crust on the tour. Took the high traverse back to Alpental to complete the reverse loop. Spring skiing conditions inbounds made for some good carving snow.

We took a relaxed trip up to Guye saddle. Few inches of soft/heavy snow atop the warm crust. Dug a pit in a clearing near the ridge, rather bomber. Q2 shear about 18" down atop a crust at ~CT70 (many jumps with a boot). 2-4' down seems to be full of wet and rounding facets.
Fun ski out on heavy snow. Commonwealth luge run is in fun shape; mind the holes.
Warm temps meant drippy trees; expect a treedrip crust.
