Quick post to aid in trip planning:
Made it a long ways back today, to a peak above Lake Alaksa. Skied out alongside Gold Creek. Won't do that again - endless flat.
Snow report:
- good stability, with not very deep wind slabs atop the rain crust. Mostly easy travel, with some frustration. Lower snow has melted and frozen. Lots of death cookies on all aspects. Some good turns to be found, but wind and old avy debris left most of our slopes in bad shape.
