Went for a quick tour this afternoon in the Mission Peak area, snow was mostly wind buffed, or sun crusted. It was possible to find a soft turn or two if I kept to north sides, and or in the sun protected wind deposit zones. Seems like the "new" snow has pretty well settled out, the areas that were wind loaded from the wind of several days ago have compressed, and a quick pit showed the contact on the wind deposited snow to be quite strong.
