Caved in again for the second straight week and decided to rv it at Bachelor. They too were offering $10 off lift tickets. Woke Friday to alpen glow and what was to be a bluebird day but that didn't last long. By the time we reached the top of Pine Martin the clouds, wind, and snow started rolling in and creeping further and further down the mountain. After lunch visibility was lost. Much of the lifts cleared out. Wind was blowing hard enough in some areas to coat the cords in few inches of fresh so it was nice. Snow fell and winds blew all night.

On Saturday we woke to another amazing sunrise and a chilly 18 degrees. The mountain had some clouds around it but it eventually burned off by afternoon. We ended up spending most of our time doing laps off of Northwest and Outback. Ventured far boarders left off of Northwest and found some untracked 4-6" of nice fluffy pow on top of rain crust. Traversed back to the chair on a well established track. Once the clouds cleared they opened the summit chair. Ended up hiking twice to the summit for some goods. Snow in the crater was carvable windpack along the crater walls and anywhere from few inches to a foot plus of windblown in the crater itself. There were also areas of inconsistency that you had to watch out for. One minute your carving and shooting spray everywhere and the next you were scrapping ice. Kept you on your toes. By the time the chairs were nearing close another strom blew in. We rode till close and headed for the waterhole. Ended up closing the place. They took last call at 4:45pm. ??? >:(

On Sunday we woke to blue skies. Met up with Chris and Rene and did a few laps between Northwest and Outback. We were able to find 6" to boot deep along this one rib. Milked that till 11 and decided to get going. Once again another storm was coming in. On the way to the rv we gave our lift tickets away in hopes of some good karma coming back our way in the form of snow. And wouldn't you know...
