What a difference a day makes. :-( Raining at Hyak at 830AM, misty at West so up we went. The 4" of powder had settled to 2" of heavier stuff, but the weather never got rainy all morning. Occasional sticky snow on the skins at first, but as it warmed that problem went away and partial stickyness on the ski down began. All in all a much better day than we first expected. Great exercise, and of course half a dozen TAY enthusiasts. Hope I got many karma points by loaning a snowboardeer my screwdriver to realign his bindings.
