2" fresh on top of smooth corduroy to start the day. Snowing all morning was nice except the temperature rose too much. My day ended when the weight of snow clumps on my skins exceeded the dry weight of my skis.
Yow. We didn't get up there this morning; too much work to do in town. Looks like skin wax for manaña.

I musta got there right after you left. I can confirm skinning was pain . I did two runs just to make sure . Snow went all wet on last run at 130.
Alpental actually had some surprisingly nice snow in a few spots. Snake Dance had some fluffy on top of bumps and the first pitch off the high traverse was actually kinda powder like! By 2pm though it was as described above, snow getting heavy and precip turning warm or even to rain. Still a surprisingly nice day skiing some soft snow for a change!
