The skiing in the Stevens Pass area is good enough to keep me coming back. The South side of Jove is nice, we were on the summit by 12:45 and the snow was soft enough for smooth turns. We discussed skiing the north side, but we were drawn to the light. The snowmobile track on the Smith Brook road made for a thigh burning snow plow out, a minor price to pay for such a nice ski.
