Took a nice tour through the Valhalla area Wednesday, there were still some pockets of powder in the shaded areas, but finding the right aspect is the trick. Above 5000 on the sun exposed slopes, it is "firm" until noon or later, and I found some nice skiing on southern exposures. I have not had much luck in the trees, still not quite enough snow to smooth out the humps and bumps, with snow bombs thrown in for spice.
