Mazama Ridge and back bowl.
Jeff Spann and myself had a good powder day.4-6". Some sun beat heavy as expected, Some shaded and still excellent , No sun crust for us but localized east wind that had blown up the bowl left windpacked on top of ridge. , Tomorrow could still be good on North aspects, You know the drill, look for the shaded aspects (Tatoosh) or shaded by trees. Anything out in the open will have a sun crust. Thought I saw Amar's car so I would guess a upper mountain report will be forthcoming. Gate opened at 9am ? we passed it at 905am .Good to be with Jeff after him battling some knee issues.
