With clear weather forecasted briefly this morning on Mt. Hood, Chris and I decided to take advantage of the sunny window and enjoy some turns before stuffing ourselves with turkey at my parents house in Boring.
I'll never get tired of this view:
Filtered sun made for some amazing views to the South:
The snow was soft windpacked, but became increasingly wind scoured as we neared the top of the Palmer Snowfield, so we turned around there and enjoyed a fun, mellow descent back to the parking lot.
PoodleTurner in action:
The weather is moving in now; fingers crossed for some pow turns tomorrow.
Happy Thanksgiving all!

Cheers
Looks like fun! Nice shot of Hood from the highway! Should be some fun to be found tomorrow before the warmer weather moves back in...
Thanks for the reminder of that view from the highway, a treat I remember from back in a previous life.
