Met my buddy Paul at the Ridge and were greeted by mostly sunny skies, cold temps, and untracked powder. The 12 inches of new was just enough to cover the rd. out to the Hill. I managed a few turns with my skinny skis up high but we're going to need an additional 2 feet to cover all the exposed rocks and grass. Still, some fine touring to be had on the flats for early November!! Bring your rock skis.
Good Job! Looks beautiful out there.
Now, that is a classy setup from head to toe, a time warp, I don't miss my silvretta's or wood skis but,that shot makes me wax nostalgic.
