Kenji, Aki and I had a nice day on Helitrope Ridge, although some of us had more fun than others going up.
.
Kenji and I enjoyed skiing the 2" of dust on crust. However, Aki found her claws didn't work well going downhill on the snow covered ice, so she resorted to sitting down on steeper rolls and waited for papa.
We found rocks were well covered above 6300, but were hard to avoid down to the end of the trail. The trail was a mixture of snow and ice and no bridge over Grouse Cr. The road was easily drivable to trailhead.

That snowball took a sweet line!
Nice day to be out.
Nice one, you guys picked a perfect day and scored! Curious what the road conditions will be like after last nights cold snow.
If any one heads up to Heliotrope or the road up to Skyline divide, I'd be very curious to hear about snow levels and amounts on the roads. Hoping access isn't over but its going to stay cold and a foot of snow on a steep road can put a damper on plans pretty quick.
